This two hour course starts at the point from when you have received a request for information, for example a Subject Access Request (SAR) or information requested by the police. It covers what information the requestor is entitled to, considerations of what information is being asked for and the appropriate redaction to be undertaken in various scenarios.
The course also covers the risks associated with redaction, and the consequences of releasing inappropriate information alongside a practical redaction exercise and discussion.
This course is led by the Data Protection and Feedback team, who specialise in this field.
