The Accountancy Service offers support and advice on all aspects of schools and academy finance. This service supports schools and academies in ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources and highlights budget pressures in advance of them taking effect.
Creditor Payment Services
Payment Services provides for the payment of creditor invoices, based at County Hall in Beverley. The service is available to local authority maintained schools.
Children's Performance Team
The Children’s Performance Team provide a data management and analysis service to support education providers in performance reporting, data analysis, completion of statutory returns, use and understanding of systems and best practice with regards to schools data. The service supports, schools and colleagues in education in the most effective use of available software to collect and collate local authority-wide, establishment and individual level data, to monitor progress and to help raise attainment in schools. By working with schools, the team ensure that schools are kept informed of the requirements of government statistical returns and that these are completed, and submitted, on time.
To enable schools to maximise the benefits of their information, the team also provide assistance and support for a variety of analytical software tools.

Vulnerable Childrens Education
The East Riding virtual school is also known as the Vulnerable Children Education Team (VCET). The primary responsibility is to promote the education of children looked-after (CLA) and Previously Looked-After Children (PLAC). The team is responsible for all aspects of access to education and educational progress of East Riding children looked-after. The virtual school also provides advice and guidance to support the education of previously looked-after children.
