The Supply Service offers the provision of supply staff across a range of roles within school and education settings. Teachers have QTS, Support Staff have an appropriate range of different qualifications and experience depending upon the roles they carry out within settings. Most of our TA’s have as a minimum Level 2 English and Maths together with relevant experience. All appropriate checks and controls have been carried out prior to placement on the supply list (Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Teaching Regulation Agency status check, references, interview).
To help schools meet their responsibilities, the Building Cleaning Service offers support and advice on all aspects of building cleaning. This service will help to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources and to highlight problems as they arise. The service has links with Children, Family and Adult Services and other Directorates to allow quick and easy referral and resolution of building cleaning related issues.

Road Safety Training
The aim of road safety training is to teach children awareness and consideration of other road users, to further their knowledge and understanding of the road environment and to understand their responsibilities to themselves and others when using the road.
Comprising of balance bike training, scooter training, pedestrian training and national standard Bikeability training.
Good cycling training will help to improve the safety of young cyclists, and at the same time encourage them to increase the amount of cycling they will do. This has a positive impact upon their health and improves general fitness and wellbeing.
The service will be provided by National Standard / Bikeability qualified instructors, with expertise in road safety and cycling training. Instructors are employed by the authority and subject to standard recruitment, employment and vetting procedures for working at schools.
The corporate billing service covers the raising and dispatching invoices of invoices requested by the School. The Section will take initial recovery action and will refer bad debts to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Credit Control Section.
The service will include telephone and e-mail support and guidance if required and wherever possible we will provide prompt responses to queries raised by the School.
Our services will be delivered by trained and experienced staff, using all reasonable skill, care and diligence in the performance of their duties. They will maintain the integrity and confidentiality of information associated with our joint obligations at all times.
All services are available to all East Riding Schools. Additional services to those specified are dependent on the corporate billing team having adequate resources. Immediate provision cannot always be guaranteed but we will do our best to help you if we can.
